Leonid Kirakosyan, CEO of SoftConstruct, joins the iGB Studio at ICE Barcelona 2026 to outline how the company is scaling AI while managing the complexity of the iGaming industry.
Since stepping into the CEO role, Kirakosyan’s priority has been alignment rather than change. His goal is to unite the board, senior leadership and wider organisation around a shared strategy and long-term vision. This approach created clarity across a group spanning B2B platforms, data, content and B2C operations.
AI is now at the centre of that strategy. SoftConstruct has established a “Centre of Excellence” to embed AI across the business, from compliance and live dealer monitoring to user personalisation.
“That enables us to move faster because we’ll learn doing something in one business and bring it to another,” Kirakosyan says, highlighting how shared capabilities accelerate innovation across units.
Vertical integration turns AI strategy into execution speed
Speed is a defining feature of SoftConstruct’s culture. “We move very fast. We release it. We see how that works,” Kirakosyan says. There is a preference toward action and experimentation over prolonged planning.
The company’s vertically integrated model enables rapid product evolution and deep market insight, but it also demands strong internal governance. Kirakosyan stresses the importance of clear “Chinese walls” to manage conflicts of interest between B2B and B2C operations.
Talent remains a major limitation. SoftConstruct recruits globally and encourages horizontal mobility across business units, positioning internal movement as both a retention strategy and a long-term investment in employee development.Watch more iGB@ICE Studio highlights on the iGB YouTube channel.
